Professional Drone Training for Young Students in Montenegro Begins!

UAV Turkey has officially launched an exciting new initiative in Podgorica, Montenegro, offering professional drone education to children between the ages of 7 and 14. This 6-month program is designed to spark curiosity, build technical skills, and inspire the next generation of tech innovators—right from the heart of the Balkans.

🔍 Why Drone Education for Kids?

In today’s world, technology is advancing rapidly—and drones are at the forefront of it. From cinema and agriculture to logistics and emergency services, drone technology is shaping the future. By introducing children to drone systems at an early age, we help them build not only technical know-how, but also problem-solving, creativity, and digital literacy skills.

🎓 What the Program Offers

Led by expert drone instructor Sinan Yüceer, the course includes a combination of theoretical knowledge, flight simulation training, and practical modules focused on cinema drones and FPV (First Person View) flight techniques.

Key features include:

  • Monthly face-to-face theoretical classes (1.5 hours each)
  • Weekend simulation sessions (2 hours on Saturdays and Sundays, online)
  • Use of the Liftoff simulator for realistic flight experience
  • Training in both cinema drones and FPV racing drones

🧠 Skills & Certification

At the end of the course, students will:

  • Develop a strong foundation in drone flight and safety
  • Learn through interactive simulation environments
  • Receive participation certificates in Turkish, English, and Montenegrin
  • Earn an official English-language training certificate upon successful completion of assessments

💻 Technical Requirements for Simulation Training

To participate in the simulation portion, students will need:

  • A Windows computer with at least:
    OS: Windows 7 / RAM: 8 GB / CPU: 2.4GHz or faster
  • A compatible drone controller such as:
TBS Tango 2, Jumper T-Lite, FrSky Taranis (X9D+, X9E, X-Lite, etc.), or DJI FPV RC
  • Installation of Liftoff via Steam platform

If the controller is recognized as a gamepad by your operating system, it will likely work with Liftoff. A quick way to check is through any online gamepad tester tool.
